Delta Systems Announces Fully Configurable, 7-Inch Touchscreen Display for OEM Applications

Streetsboro, Ohio, Oct. 13, 2026 —Delta Systems, Inc. today announced the upcoming release of a new fully configurable, 7-inch touchscreen human-machine interface (HMI) display, giving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) greater control over the user experience. The new display is expected to be available for OEM applications in early 2027.

Built on a Linux-based operating system, the new digital dashboard is designed to give OEMs direct control over what’s included on the user interface. Using open-source development tools, including Qt and EGT, OEMs can customize menus, screens and functionality to align the HMI with the requirements of their equipment and end users.

“Display and HMI technology in the outdoor power equipment market has traditionally been slow to evolve, while operators increasingly expect the intuitive interfaces and functionality they experience in automotive applications,” said Tony Nohra, Advanced Technology Manager at Delta Systems. “We developed this platform to give OEMs more flexibility in how they design the operator experience, while providing a modern HMI solution that can differentiate their equipment.”

The configurable architecture is designed to support a range of equipment applications, including outdoor power equipment, construction equipment, powersports, and more. OEMs can tailor the interface to the needs of specific vehicle platforms, applications and operator requirements.

“The ability to configure the interface around the application is increasingly important as OEMs look to differentiate their products and deliver a more intuitive operator experience,” said Isaac Kirbawy, Director of Product Management at Delta Systems. “This platform gives OEMs the flexibility to develop interfaces that fit their equipment, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.”

In addition to configurability, you can expect the same intuitive features as our existing HMI displays, providing an automotive-inspired interface that shows vehicle speed, fuel level or state of charge, diagnostic codes, and more.

Delta Systems will showcase a prototype of the display at Equip Expo 2026, October 20 - 23, at Booth #9078. OEMs and industry professionals can visit the booth to see the technology in action or contact Delta Systems to discuss samples and development opportunities ahead of the product’s official release.
