Dome Switch
N.C. - Flame Retardant
N.C./N.O. - Flame Retardant
N.O. - Flame Retardant

Delta offers a variety of specialty, electromechanical switches that can be customized to fit your wiring harness needs. Put through a series of rigorous tests, our lanyard, dome and flame retardant switches will survive in the most rugged environments.

The lanyard and dome switches are sealed for reliability in wet environments. They are used in marine engines, boats, go-carts and off-road vehicles. Designed with twin O-rings on the plunger shaft and complete encapsulation at the wire lead exits, Delta’s lanyard switches withstand water submersion to depths of 10 feet. They offer a variety of mounting configurations, brackets and terminations, which allow for placement flexibility. They can be mounted on engines or chassis and on or below control panels. The single-pole, single-throw circuitry is available in normally open or normally closed configurations.

Delta's flame retardant plunger switches are UL 583 certified for electric, battery-powered industrial truck applications. The patented wiping-action switch contacts prevent carbon buildup, keeping contact resistance low and extending switch life in harsh environments. A unique shorting connector is available for the 6440 series of switches. When disconnected from the plunger switch, the connector automatically “shorts” the circuit, discouraging intentional disconnection and system bypass attempts.
