Delta’s push/pull switches are rugged, ergonomic, and available in high current and standard current versions allowing you to choose what fits your application needs. The easy snap-in installation makes assembly simple and cost-effective.

Our plunger switches are used to sense the position of mechanical linkages and controls. Multiple mounting configurations allow for quick installation and are easily designed into your product. The patented wiping action switch contact prevents carbon buildup, keeping contact resistance low and extending switch life in rugged environments. A unique shorting connector is offered with this switch series. When disconnected from the switch, the shorting connector automatically “shorts” the circuit, discouraging intentional disconnection and system bypass attempts.

Rotary/ignition switches were originally designed for applications utilizing a gas engine. Rotary switches are now used in diverse applications like floor scrubbers, generators, welders, and golf cars. They are available in two, three, and four position rotations. The snap-in model, series number 6900, has a well-styled bezel that can be customized to match any panel. Series number 6901 has the same attributes, plus heavy duty key retention. Keys can be over-molded to include your logo or other graphic.

Seat switches are designed for rugged applications where operators might be injured when they leave their seats. The switch is actuated when the operator sits in the seat, compressing the seat foam. The switches are offered in single-pole and double-pole circuit configurations and are ruggedly designed with patented wiping action internal contacts. Like the plunger series, the unique shorting connector is also available for seat switches.

Microswitches are sealed, miniature switches with proven reliability in wet environments. The micro switches are used in applications like marine engines, boats, go-carts, exercise equipment, and off-road vehicles. Designed with twin O-rings on the plunger shaft and complete encapsulation at the wire lead exits, Delta’s micro switches withstand water submersion to depths of 10 feet making them perfect marine switches for outboard motors. They offer a variety of mounting configurations, brackets, and terminations, which allows placement flexibility.

Delta’s specialty switch category includes lanyard switches, flame retardant switches, and dome switches. Delta’s dome switches provide “tactile” feel when operated. They are low profile switches with a compact design and they are encapsulated at the wire exit. They are available with blade terminals or a variety of wire lead lengths. Lanyard switches are sealed, some including mounting hardware. Flame retardant switches offer heat resistant protection for extremely rugged applications.
