Rotary/Ignition Switches: 2-Position

Originally designed for applications utilizing a gas-engine, the Delta rotary/ignition switches are now used in diverse applications, such as floor scrubbers, generators, welders and golf cars. They are available with two, three and four position rotations. They also offer a variety of standard circuit configurations with two to seven terminals but can be custom-designed for specific needs. Corrosion- and chemical-resistant materials extend switch life. The snap-in models have well-styled bezels that can be customized to match any panel. Heavy duty key retention is also an option.   2 pin mates with Packard #2973872 connector
  5 & 6 pin mates with Packard #2973422 connector
  7 pin mates with Delta #972311 connector
• ROTATION FOR NUT MOUNT:
  2 position: 0º, 90º
• ROTATION FOR SNAP MOUNT:
  2 position: -45º, 45º
• MATING TERMINALS: Mate with Packard 56 series female terminals or equivalent.

IMPORTANT: Switch should never be mounted with the “B” terminal directly above the “G” terminal, relative to gravity.

MATERIALS:

• SWITCH HOUSING: Delton™, UV-stable, fuel resistant thermoplastic.
• TERMINALS: Brass, .032" x .250" blades.

• Fastenerless mounting for panel thicknesses of .048 max., .060 max., .105 max., and .165 max.
• Each switch is function-tested after assembly.
• Field-and lab-tested for salt fog, dust, vibration, water spray, and chemical resistance.
• Non-coded key available in nickel-plated steel; plastic cover optional.
• Removable and replaceable.
• Optional: The 6901 series has a black anodized aluminum ring inside the keyhole area for added durability.

Nut Mount

• D-hole mounting for panel thicknesses of .070 to .170.
• Fastens with threaded shaft and nut.
• Includes anti-rotation pin.
• Each switch is function-tested after assembly.
• Field and lab tested for salt fog, dust, vibration, water spray, and chemical resistance.
• Non-coded key available in nickel-plated steel; plastic cover optional.
