February 22, 2007Streetsboro, OH, February 22, 2007-Delta Systems, Inc., an award-winning manufacturer of electrical products and systems, switches, and FreeRein™ wireless control systems has acquired a Typhoon 1.5 Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT) chamber.
The HALT is a proven method of validation developed by Qualmark as a way to increase product reliability. Traditional validation testing simulates field environments and evaluates products within specifications. HALT exceeds the product operating limits using the stresses of temperature, rapid thermal cycles, and vibration. The testing induces a failure for root cause analysis, and it facilitates a corrective action to optimize the product design.
HALT improves product quality and reliability and prevents hidden failures that are difficult to discover with traditional testing methods. The testing is rapid and extreme allowing for a reduction in development time and time to market. In addition, product modifications can be evaluated and implemented more quickly.
From concept to production, Delta utilizes a total solutions approach. This approach combines their expertise in project management, engineering, prototyping, testing, quality management, and manufacturing. Delta Systems is committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective, timely solutions that bring distinctive value to their customers.
