Surface Mount Assembly Lines

Delta Systems has two surface mount assembly lines capable of up to 20,000 placements per hour. Delta has invested heavily in state-of-the-art process control for our electronics manufacturing processes. Each line has an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) unit in-line that performs inspection on each populated board for:

• Proper Solder Connections
• Component ID
• Component Orientation
• Component Placement

Delta Systems is committed to low cost manufacturing. Our manufacturing engineering group is responsible for design, installation and debugging of sophisticated, automated assembly equipment. This equipment uses state-of-the art approaches to ensure accuracy of placements and product quality validation using vision systems and sensors. Our automated assembly processes all include in-line functional product testing.

Delta has in-house certified IPC (Institute of Printed Circuits) trainers. All of our SMT operators are trained to IPC-A-610D for inspection of printed circuit boards. Electronics Technicians are also certified to IPC-A-610D and IPC-7711/7721. Delta Systems is lead-free capable.
